A Calm Room For A Relaxing Break Away
Buckland room is situated at the rear of the house looking out on our large garden and all its wildlife. The blue wall has been stenciled with a beautiful bird image and the other walls are a calming magnolia, although our smallest room room is bright and calm. This room has a standard double mattress within a wrought-iron bedstead. The washbasin is situated in the corner of the room and has ensuite shower facilities.
The room is named after the village of Buckland and is certainly a wonderful example of this a beautiful secluded village nestling beneath the Cotswolds escarpment at the foot of Burhill. It is thought to have the oldest rectory in England, with an impressive timbered hall that dates back to the fifteenth century.
